Hideaway Campground

Hideaway Campground is a family-oriented park, owned and run by the Kolosci family since 1989. Our purpose is to provide a great vacation spot for families who are visiting the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in West Michigan.

Comfortable & Fun Camping

Hideaway Campground has seen many changes over the years, but all the changes have been to make our campground a more comfortable and fun place for families to stay. Previously home to a 340’ waterslide, we now have a heated pool in its place. A newcamp store was also added, which gave birth to the LIGHTHOUSE GRILL, our own restaurant located on the property at Hideaway. The grill is also open to the public and serves a wide variety of meals, including breakfast all day!

Family Friendly Campground

If you are looking for a quiet spot for your family vacation, Hideaway is your place to camp. Since we are outside of town, we do not have traffic noise like many of the other campgrounds in Silver Lake. We are also the farthest campground from the concerts at Val Du Lakes, providing a peaceful respite from the crowds and noise.
